changing the order of work from the instruction.

From the experience we got till now we found that the prim overhead time is very significant. from that reason we decided to accumulate maximum  parts for priming. as a result we are changing the order of work from the instruction.
1 - Fitting the stiffeners to the R/L elevators skin. (riveting the stiffeners  to the skin will be done after priming all the parts)
2 - Building the elevators skeleton.
3 - Match drilling all parts.

On E903 & E904 Tip ribs & E913 counterbalance skin we had to enlarge the #40 holes to #30 to overcome the hole mismatch. this was only on the left Elevator but for esthetical look we made the same on the right Elevator

In the right elevator we followed the instruction and rivet the E-903/904/913 assembly to the E-902 spar that was already riveted to the top skin, as a results we had an hard time riveting the AN470AD4-4. In the left elevator we changed the order and rivet the E-903/904/913 assembly to the E-902 spar before riveting the spar to the top skin.

Working and finishing all uncompleted small task all around the
airplane. the major task was baffle seals and main and front wheel fairings.
last two days after finishing all small tasks and installing every thing in place we performed the most important and critical task. "
weight and balance"  we borrowed airplane scales (Calibrated by the Israeli "Office of Standards and Regulation") and after measuring the main & nose wheel exact distance from leading wing point (70 inc point from datum) we rolled up the airplane on the scales balanced roll & pitch axis of the airplane and weighted the airplane according to the weigh and balance table. The exact results after calculation we will put at the POH which is almost finished too.

Officially we finished the work In the workshop.

First Engine Startup as schedule.
Mr. Shmuel Ozeri (Maintenance 2000 LTD) examined the entire project with a special focus on Engine.
We assembled the propeller adjusted the alternator belt and secured all involved bolts for first startup.
Then we performed all necessary steps to rinse the fuel system and build up the oil pressure (by hand)
At 14:16 we started the Engine for the first time
WORKED excellent !!!!!
All EMS sensors read  good readings, the idle needed a little adjustment .
